Global Investment Forum 2017

The third annual «Global Investment Forum», an ACE & Company tradition, was held June 8th and June 9th. This year’s edition was animated around the theme of «Shaping Our Future» and featured a remarkable list of speakers and panelists such as David Rubenstein Co-founder and Co-CEO of the Carlyle Group, Byron Wien Vice Chairman of Private Wealth Solutions at Blackstone, British politician Nigel Farage, as well as Magnus Lindkvist, the world renown trendspotter.


An hour before kicking off the forum, the breakfast hall of the Intercontinental hotel in Geneva was buzzing with anticipation and chatter on the latest Private Equity insights from around the world, as asset managers, private equity visionaries and world-class entrepreneurs sipped their coffee and introduced themselves.


The Founder and CEO of ACE & Company, Adam Said along with Eric Syz, CEO of Banque Syz started the event by a welcome address followed by an engaging talk of Magnus Lindkvist about .


What would follow throughout the two-day event included panel discussions finding value in uncertain times, regional issues, global consequences, Trump’s disappointing year, Terrorism and Counterterrorism. In addition to the breakout sessions covering a diverse range of topics from practices of company builders, shifts in global economic power, central banks in today’s economy, the real impact of blockchain, and finally all capped off with stories from our very own portfolio companies who each presented their journeys to creating value.
